• Handwashing Efficacy

    Dr. Wolfe’s work on handwashing efficacy is focused on understanding how handwashing methods that are commonly used in low-resource and humanitarian settings are efficacious against particular outbreak pathogens of concern. The goal of this work is to utilize controlled laboratory experiments to support decision making for the implementation and evaluation of handwashing solutions for disease prevention in the real world.

  • Urban Flooding in Atlanta

    Dr. Wolfe is the recipient of an Emory Dean’s Pilot award to partner with the Peoplestown neighborhood in Altanta on a project to investigate risks associated with flooding on both open floodwaters and resident drinking water after significant rainfall events.
